Lazy Days

For most people Saturdays are lazy days. A day to relax from the busy week. There is no such day for me. The only difference for me is staying home to work as opposed to going to the office.

Freelance writing is a full time job itself. If you are a writer, you already know this. Working part time, being a wife, mother, grandmother and homemaker rounds out some of the many hats I wear, but doesn’t give justice to my very busy schedule.

Aside from the above mentioned, I work on my current word in progress, Broken Arrow, run a yahoo group, currently updating my website and building a writing comuunity website, putting together a series of workshops and writing classes for my Learning Center and planning a writer’s retreat all at the same time.

Busy…busy…busy!

Today I’m taking some time away from the computer to spend quality time with my daughter and grandchildren. I hope everyone has a great weekend and takes some time to smell the roses along their way.

Hello world!

Day one

Welcome to my new blog. This is my first day blogging, so I might sound very different from other blogs you read. Also, I prefer not using chatspeak, so if you drop by, please use regular writing to comment.

As you can probably tell by my chosen theme, my favorite season is the fall, next to that would be winter. I’m not a summer person, and I don’t particularly like hot weather.
